Technically decent WiiU version of Watch Dogs but uneven compared to other platforms. GamePad as second screen for hacking is an appealing idea. The game itself is uneven and its promised revolution doesn't deliver.

Is Watch_Dogs still worth playing in 2026?

An Ubisoft open world action game, Watch Dogs casts hacker Aiden Pearce in a connected Chicago, where you hack cameras, traffic lights and devices via the smartphone to manipulate the city and track your targets. Environmental hacking, investigation and a blend of action and driving make for an original formula. The Wii U version, released late, shows a clear technical lag and the driving stays stiff. A good adventure game for fans of open worlds and the hacking theme, despite its visual concessions.
