The series' high point, Rally Evolved introduces weather that shifts mid-stage, a clear sky turns to downpour, puddles spread, headlights come on at dusk. Light and sheets of spray become the real show, each run seeming unique depending on when you tackle it. End-of-generation technology unfurls its finest effects here.

An entry in the official World Rally Championship series from Evolution Studios, WRC Rally Evolved offers a demanding WRC licensed simulation, with a wide variety of surfaces, detailed damage and changing weather conditions that bear on the driving. The realism of the handling, the demand of the stages and the career mode appeal to simulation fans. The PS2 production has aged against modern references. A good rally game for fans of realistic driving and off road motorsport.
