The art direction shows what the healing factor costs to watch. Under bullets and blades, Logan's flesh truly tears away, muscles and adamantium skeleton exposed, then the wounds close on screen, fiber after fiber. This uncensored version makes regeneration a permanent anatomical spectacle, and the hero's body, destroyed and recomposed continuously, becomes the game's first special effect.

A brutal, cathartic brawler where you play Wolverine, tearing your enemies apart with his claws in fights of assumed violence. The real-time regeneration and the savagery of the clashes deliver an instant, visceral pleasure. Snappy, gory and spectacular, an action game that transposes the character's fury with gleeful intensity, ideal for letting off steam.

Collector interest

A movie adaptation by Raven, X-Men Origins Wolverine Uncaged Edition surprises with its embraced violence and sense of dismemberment, widely hailed as far better than the film. Still common in the West, its interest lies in this reputation as a successful tie-in and its uncensored tone rather than scarcity. A piece valued by fans of gory beat-em-ups.

Is X-Men Origins - Wolverine - Uncaged Edition still worth playing in 2026?

X-Men Origins Wolverine Uncaged Edition is a no-frills action game, brutal and surprisingly gratifying, far surpassing the usual expectations for a film adaptation. Its great asset lies in the viscerality of its combat, where the adamantium claws slice and impale enemies with a cathartic violence of rare generosity, in an unapologetic gory deluge. The brisk gameplay, dotted with satisfying combos and a spectacular regeneration, energises the action. Without great narrative depth, the title is worth it mostly for its outlet. For the fan of brutal action or super-heroes, this adaptation remains one of the best of the generation.
