EA's Bond FPS with an original story built for the 6th gen. It mixes gunplay, driving and gadgets across short missions. Genuinely fun pad in hand but clearly under N64 GoldenEye. A decent appetizer, nothing more.

Is 007 - Espion pour Cible still worth playing in 2026?

The first James Bond of the GameCube era, Agent Under Fire from Electronic Arts seeks to recapture the spirit of GoldenEye with a brisk FPS, punctuated by driving stretches and gadgets. The action is snappy and the mood faithful to the saga, but the level design stays linear and the enemy intelligence basic. Without the finesse of the era's shooter leaders, it ages only moderately. For 007 fans and nostalgics of early 2000s console FPS, it offers a short, entertaining adventure, without leaving a lasting mark.
