A solid in-house take on the Bond film that holds up surprisingly well on the N64. Its fourteen missions juggle stealth, Q's gadgets and driving sections with proper 007 flair, and the four-player split-screen keeps the couch party lively long after the credits roll.

Is 007 - The World Is Not Enough still worth playing in 2026?

007 - The World Is Not Enough tries to reproduce the formula that made GoldenEye a success, stringing together fourteen first-person espionage missions drawn from the James Bond film. The infiltration, the variety of objectives and the gadgets stay enjoyable, and the presentation makes honorable use of the machine late in its life. The level design and AI, however, do not reach the level of their illustrious model. For fans of retro FPS and the Bond universe, it is a solid runner-up, pleasant without being memorable.
