Sonic Advance and Sonic Battle in one cart. Two complementary experiences. Battle is shallower but fun in multiplayer, Advance remains a solid choice.

Is 2 Games in 1 - Sonic Advance + Sonic Battle still worth playing in 2026?

This compilation pairs two very different faces of the hedgehog. Sonic Advance, an excellent return to fast 2D platforming inherited from the Mega Drive era, remains one of the best portable Sonic experiences, fluid and demanding. Sonic Battle, a twelve character arena fighter, charms with its style and story but suffers from quickly repetitive gameplay. The pairing offers a fine contrast of pacing. For a Sonic fan or a lover of snappy platforming, the pack is worth it above all for Advance, which has lost none of its bite.
