A testosterone-fueled rampage where you blast everything that moves to a gangsta rap soundtrack. The story is gloriously silly and co-op works, but the gunplay loop gets old fast. A guilty pleasure, no shame.

The Japanese release of Blood on the Sand stands among THQ's least likely localizations, since 50 Cent's American rap held little appeal in the archipelago. Shipped in July 2009 into a tiny 360 market, it saw only a modest print run, which drives a value well above what a minor action title would normally command. The sleeve keeps the Western artwork with no local restyling, so the draw rests chiefly on regional scarcity rather than content.

Is 50 Cent - Blood on the Sand still worth playing in 2026?

A third person action game from Swordfish, 50 Cent Blood on the Sand sends the rapper and his crew to recover a diamond encrusted skull in a fictional Middle East, through snappy firefights and over the top one liners. The frantic pace, the arcade scoring system and the embraced humour make it a surprisingly successful romp despite an unlikely premise. The repetition and a dated presentation weigh. A carefree cover shooter for fans of arcade action and beefy B movie fare.
