A small arcade golf game, nice looking but with no real ambition. Cartoon characters, colourful courses and instant pick-up-and-play feel. Fun for a couch session, quickly forgotten solo. Not bad, just minor.

Collector interest

Korean run of Camelot's Mario golf, from one of the narrowest GameCube markets there is. Its collector interest rests almost entirely on that geographic rarity: the content, a pleasant but unremarkable arcade golf, matters less than gathering the Korean edition, pressed in tiny volume and seldom offered outside the peninsula. For anyone completing the regional versions of a Nintendo game, this local release is one of the hardest boxes to tick.
