Aliens in Paradise sequel. Same islands, with aliens replacing part of the local fauna this time. The mount dinosaurs split into types (flight, fire, water) and bring real variety. More playable and more generous than the first, the one to pick on Game Boy.

Is Takahashi Meijin no Bouken-jima II still worth playing in 2026?

Adventure Island II: Aliens in Paradise brings the series' high energy platforming to the Game Boy, where Master Higgins crosses exotic islands while managing a vitality gauge that constantly drains. The addition of rideable dinosaurs, each with its own abilities, brings real variety and good moments. The difficulty stays high and the pace demands sharp reflexes. A classic but generous platformer, it will suit genre fans willing to deal with its old school demands and infectious energy.
