A love letter to Akihabara where stripping enemies down exposes them to sunlight. The premise raises an eyebrow at first then turns surprisingly deep, with the district recreated with real affection.

Is Akiba's Trip still worth playing in 2026?

An action RPG from Acquire, Akiba's Trip has you roam the geek district of Akihabara to fight the Synthisters, vampires who fear sunlight and must therefore be stripped mid combat to expose them. The offbeat concept, the faithful otaku mood and the combat system based on tearing off clothes make it a singular, parodic production. The production stays modest. For a fan of offbeat action RPGs or someone curious about otaku culture, the title keeps a unique character and an unabashed humour.
