MercurySteam swing for a darker sequel but stumble between a tortured Dracula, a weak modern-day thread and clunky stealth bits. The whip combat still shines and a few setpieces hit hard, yet the series feels on the edge of a cliff.

Akumajou Dracula - Lords of Shadow 2 (Xbox 360) price, value & rarity
Lords of Shadow 2 closes MercurySteam's Castlevania trilogy, and its Japanese release under the Akumajou Dracula title carries the series' original name from Konami's storied franchise. Reaching a fading 360 market in September 2014, it sold in very small numbers, which lifts its value well above the Western editions despite the game's mixed reception. The appeal lies in that historic Japanese title attached to the last major console Castlevania.
