Alfred Chicken's American release ranks among the costliest end-of-generation NES platformers. Its valuation, well above the PAL edition, reflects a tiny print run shipped in 1993 once the US market had already shifted to the Super Nintendo, shrinking retailer orders. Mindscape's late cardboard box is seldom found complete, and the gap between a loose cartridge and a sealed copy is unusually wide here.
