Is Alien 3 still worth playing in 2026?

Alien 3 adapts the film into an Acclaim action-adventure, in which Ellen Ripley roams the corridors of Fiorina prison to free prisoners against the clock and exterminate the xenomorphs. The oppressive atmosphere, faithful to the feature, and the tense pace of timed missions bring real tension. The slightly stiff handling and the repetition of some objectives show their limits. For fans of retro 2D action and the Alien universe, it is a polished and atmospheric adaptation, more successful than the average licensed game.
