Description
First-person shooter loosely adapted from the first three Alien films, with Ripley clearing installations, prison and xenomorph hive. FPS by Probe Entertainment and Acclaim, released in 1996 in Europe, the United States and Japan. Thirty-six maze-like levels, facehuggers, chestbursters and queens, full military arsenal, Giger atmosphere.
An adaptation of the films by Probe and Acclaim, Alien Trilogy transposes the Alien world into a first person shooter in the Doom lineage, where Ripley clears Xenomorph infested complexes. The oppressive mood, the dim lighting and the faithful bestiary build genuine horror tension for the time. The stiff handling, the lack of vertical aiming and repetitive settings have aged poorly. An atmospheric FPS for fans of the Alien saga and lovers of old school retro shooting.
