Is Among Us still worth playing in 2026?
Among Us enjoyed a meteoric fame, but its social-deduction mechanic has lost none of its bite. Bluffing, accusing and defending your innocence during meetings remains a fearsome psychological playground, especially among friends on a voice channel. Without a group, though, the experience is far duller, making the title wholly dependent on its context. Visually minimalist, it never aimed for looks and so has not aged on that front. For evenings among close friends, it keeps an intact potential for chaos and helpless laughter, provided you gather the right crew.
