Galaga and Galaxian compilation on Game Boy. Decent emulation of the two classic Namco shooters, original and solo modes. The portable format suits the snappy arcade gameplay. Pointless next to a proper Namco Museum bundle, but pleasant for travel and pocket scoring.

Is Arcade Classic No. 3 - Galaga & Galaxian still worth playing in 2026?

Arcade Classic No. 3: Galaga & Galaxian gathers on one cartridge two pillars of Namco's fixed screen shoot'em up. Dodging the dives of alien insects and aiming true to maximize your score stays a pure, snappy arcade pleasure, especially Galaga with its famous captured ship to win back. The conversions are faithful despite the monochrome, but the content is limited to these two classics frozen in time. An honest compilation, to savor in small doses and above all by fans of retro scoring.
