Arch Rivals The Arcade Game adapts Midway arcade basketball to Mega Drive with two on two matches and physical contact. The 16 bit conversion keeps the original's cartoon spirit but loses some spectacle. Pleasant for 16 bit arcade basketball fans, in line with genre average.

Collector interest

A US port of Midway's arcade basketball game by Flying Edge, unrelated to NBA Jam despite the shared spirit, this Arch Rivals stays a secondary tie-in nobody collects for the gameplay. The value reads entirely in the scores: loose it's common and cheap, worth concentrating in a clean complete Genesis copy and the late 1992 sealed run, a modest print on a catalogue already flooded with sports titles. Completist interest rather than genuine desire.
