Bad Dudes adapts the Data East arcade beat em up to NES with two tough guys facing ninjas to save the president. The conversion keeps the snappy rhythm and 80s humor of the original in an efficient local coop formula. Pleasant for 8 bit beat em up fans, Data East genre classic.

The NES port of Data East's beat-em-up was a flagship of late-1980s arcades, and its US home version draws on that aura, helped by the cult line addressed to the President. Widely available, the game holds notable value only when factory-sealed, where it reaches surprising sums driven by DragonNinja nostalgia and the kitsch iconography of its two muscle-bound heroes.
