Japanese Hudson follow-up to the original Baku Bomberman, released late in November 1999 as the GameCube loomed on the horizon. This second entry introduces the Charabom evolution system and a branching story mode absent from the later Western Bomberman 64 The Second Attack release, of which it is the Japanese equivalent. The scarcity of the late Hudson Japanese pressing makes it a clear target for purist Bomberman collectors.
