Enhanced Arkham City version with armor and GamePad use for gadgets. The original game remains excellent. WiiU integration is polished if not revolutionary. The best way to play one of the best Batmans on a Nintendo console.

An open-air prison city, this decaying Gotham stacks cracked concrete, gargoyles and garish neon beneath dirty snow. The gothic-industrial architecture and the armoured silhouette of the vigilante compose a darkness of total coherence. This oppressive mood, dense yet readable, lingers on the retina.
Locked inside an open-air prison given over to chaos, Batman unravels a plot where his worst enemies intersect. Vaster and darker, the tale pushes the vigilante to his moral limits, up to a striking finale. Its assumed darkness and carefully drawn characters make it a peak of the superhero game.

Batman - Arkham City - Armored Edition (Wii U) price, value & rarity
Is Batman - Arkham City - Armored Edition still worth playing in 2026?
A Wii U port of Rocksteady's masterpiece, Batman Arkham City Armored Edition unfolds an open world prison district where you chain fluid combat, stealth and gadgets as the Dark Knight. The polished writing, the gallery of villains and the rhythmic combat system remain a genre reference. This edition adds GamePad controls and a dispensable armour mode, without distorting the essentials. An excellent action adventure for Batman fans and lovers of well written superheroes.
