Collector interest

Acclaim adaptation of the 1995 film, the Japanese Super Famicom version of a beat'em up with digitized sprites in the Mortal Kombat mold. The game was poorly received for its stiff handling, but the Japanese pressing is markedly less common than the Western editions, inverting its interest in this territory. Desirability rests on that regional scarcity more than on its merits, targeting completists of late Japanese Batman-licensed releases.
