Batman adapts Tim Burton's film into an Ocean and Sega action-adventure, in which the Dark Knight explores Gotham, faces the Joker's minions and alternates platforming phases with vehicle sequences. The dark atmosphere faithful to the feature and the variety of situations bring a pleasant cachet. The stiff handling and a high difficulty betray the era. For fans of retro 2D action and Burton's Batman universe, it is an honest and atmospheric adaptation, carried by attachment to the license.
