Battlefield Bad Company 2 perfects everything great about Bad Company. Even more spectacular destruction, gripping campaign, rich and balanced multiplayer. One of the best FPS of the generation.

Description
Direct sequel with the Bad Company squad sent to Bolivia to counter a Russian weapon able to disable electronics. Published by Electronic Arts and developed by DICE, released in 2010 in Europe, North America and Japan. Improved scenery destruction with Frostbite 1.5, 32-player multiplayer on eight maps, Squad Deathmatch mode, cooperative Onslaught mode, Limited Edition with bonus weapons and vehicles.
A much-liked Bad Company sequel, the branch's peak for its destructible multiplayer, also stripped of its servers. Printed in large numbers, it stays accessible and lightly priced. Its collector interest is still limited by its nature as an online-heavy FPS now shut down, a nostalgic title for its fans rather than a piece sought for scarcity.
Better with friends
Large-scale battles give the series all its flavor, where squads, vehicles and destruction turn every map into a living theater of operations. The competition rewards team coordination over solo heroics: covering an ally, retaking a point or flying a chopper spawns improvised stories. Online play hinges on servers whose longevity is no longer assured, but the formula stays heady.
Is Battlefield - Bad Company 2 still worth playing in 2026?
Bad Company 2 refines everything that made the first one strong and stays one of the most memorable shooters of its generation. Destructible scenery here reaches a spectacular degree that genuinely changes how you play, stripping the enemy of cover. The campaign grips, but it is the multiplayer, long beloved for its class balance, its vehicles and its controlled chaos, that built the legend. The online servers have sadly gone dark. What remains is a solid solo and a testament to an era when the series brushed the heights.
