Beauty and the Beast adapts the Disney film to NES with its heroine Belle exploring the enchanted castle. The art direction keeps the film magic but gameplay stays basic and difficulty uneven. Pleasant for young Disney fans, in the lower middle of 8 bit Disney tie ins.

The lack of a North American release and the thin print run of this end-of-life licence push complete values well past the game's modest content.
