Bill & Ted's Excellent Video Game Adventure adapts the comic film to NES with its duo traveling through eras in a phone booth. The film faithful art direction appeals but gameplay stays basic and difficulty uneven. Pleasant for nostalgic film fans, in the lower middle of cinema tie ins.

Collector interest

An LJN take on the cult film, released in the US in late 1991 in the publisher's familiar rainbow box. Collection interest is marginal: the game is short and lightly regarded, and its value tracks a common LJN title. Its only role is completing the run of LJN movie licences on NES, the item drawing nothing from its own scarcity but rather from the themed effort of collecting the publisher's catalogue.
