From a rain-lashed train to the underground labs, the pre-rendered backdrops shine here through their meticulousness and cold reflections. Memorable bosses

A prequel with a gothic mood, this survival horror hands you two complementary characters to swap between as you outlast monstrous guardians: a giant scorpion, a colossal bat and an enigmatic leech-man who rules the place. Juggling ammo and positioning for two builds a particular tension. The hushed staging and grotesque bestiary worthily extend the series' terror.

Is Resident Evil Archives - Resident Evil Zero still worth playing in 2026?

A Wii edition of the prequel Resident Evil Zero developed by Capcom, Biohazard Zero carries on the fixed camera survival horror where you alternate between Rebecca and a partner through a character swap system. The oppressive gothic mood, the puzzles and the inventory management keep their original tension, now playable with the remote. The stiffness of the tank controls and the absence of an item box divide. A demanding survival horror for fans of the saga and lovers of classic horror.
