A neat little portable action gem where Jason and his SOPHIA tank dig through caverns crawling with mutants. The shift between top down and side scrolling stages holds up nicely, and eight zones deliver real exploration. A treat for Sunsoft fans.

Blaster Master - Enemy Below (GBC) price, value & rarity
A portable entry in the Blaster Master franchise, this GBC instalment landed at the very end of Sunsoft's 8-bit run, a stretch when the publisher's European releases thinned out sharply. The PAL printing saw narrow distribution, which accounts for its premium over the American copy. The pull comes mainly from the Sunsoft name and the cult standing of the NES series, seldom revisited on Nintendo's handheld.
An underrated gem
Driving the SOPHIA tank between underground exploration and on-foot shootouts loses none of its bite in this portable take, faithful to the series' NES spirit. Its slightly dated presentation and quiet release left it in the original's shadow. For anyone who loves interlocking exploration and old-school difficulty, it's an unjustly forgotten sequel.
