Totally overlooked action platformer but genuinely enjoyable to play. Good production values, dynamic gameplay. A nice surprise for those who enjoy digging through GBA catalogs.

Collector interest

Blender Bros. is an action platformer developed by Bits Studios and released in the US by Majesco, here under the Atari banner. Its premise of a polar bear and penguin merging into a giant blender went entirely unnoticed, making it a genuine NTSC catalogue sleeper. Its value rests on a modest print run and total media obscurity rather than broad demand. A real draw for collectors hunting original, overlooked GBA platformers.

Is Blender Bros. still worth playing in 2026?

An offbeat platformer developed by Bits Studios, Blender Bros. gives the player a duo, polar bear and penguin, able to fuse into a giant blender to grind enemies and obstacles by spinning. The idea is fun and the world quirky, but the execution suffers from imprecise handling, uneven level design and a modest production. The concept is not enough to carry the whole over the long haul. For someone curious about the GBA's obscure platformers or a fan of eccentric concepts, the title keeps mostly a curiosity value.
