Terminal Reality gothic TPS action. Rayne, a dhampir in WW2, fights with katana and firearms in an alternative horror setting. Decent execution, gameplay held back by a finicky camera. Dark-fantasy niche with bold adult content.

Is BloodRayne still worth playing in 2026?

The first entry in Majesco's series, BloodRayne follows the dhampir Rayne, half human and half vampire, who carves through Nazis and monsters in an orgy of bloody, unbridled action. The vampiric powers, blood draining and spectacular finishers give an uninhibited flavor to gameplay that is otherwise fairly repetitive. The camera and presentation have aged markedly. For fans of brawny 2000s action and of the heroine turned cult figure, it remains a gory, shameless outlet, more appealing for its mood than its polish.
