Is Fortune Street still worth playing in 2026?

An economic board game from Square Enix, known in Japan as Itadaki Street, Boom Street blends Monopoly style movement and stock market speculation on boards peopled with Mario and Dragon Quest characters. The mix of chance and financial strategy, and the long four player games, create a devious, addictive conviviality. The dense rules take time to learn and games drag on. An excellent digital board game for fans of economic strategy among friends.
