Pure Sokoban on Game Boy, the first Western release of the great classic. 112 progressive levels, minimal mechanics (push, never pull), satisfaction on every solved room. Austere presentation, but the pure puzzle works perfectly in monochrome. For fans of unvarnished Sokoban.

Boxxle is the first Western release of Sokoban, the Japanese box-pushing puzzle that became a genre of its own. As such, the 1989 US version holds a pioneer's place in bringing pure puzzling to handhelds, right at the Game Boy launch. Its value stays contained since the print run was large and the game common, but the historical interest of this first English-language Sokoban outweighs its modest scarcity.
