A 3D platformer from Sega, Bug! was one of the Saturn's first platform games in relief, starring a hammy insect who walks on walls and ceilings in colourful levels with a pseudo 3D perspective. The cartoon humour, the hero's personality and the technical ambition made it a launch showcase, even if the rigid handling and the constrained camera have aged. The good natured charm remains. For a retro platforming fan, someone curious about early 3D or a collector, the title keeps a period character and a definite charm.
