Taxan multidirectional shooter on Game Boy. Eight-way fire, military corridors to clean out, arm bonuses that change the shot. Shorter than the NES build, decent presentation, snappy gameplay held back by Game Boy readability. Pleasant, nothing more, minor in portable shoot.

An adaptation of the Taxan shooter, this Burai Fighter Deluxe is the Game Boy take on a NES title prized by fans of twitchy action. Its appeal stems mainly from publisher Taxan, present on few handheld carts, and from a genre that stayed scarce on the monochrome machine. Neither a hit nor unobtainable, but a safe pick for those hunting uncommon Game Boy shmups and their small third-party runs.
