Headlights now sweep the interchanges, dawn pinks Big Surf Beach, and riders cut slim silhouettes through a traffic of massive metal. That day-night cycle turns the already familiar city into a series of new postcards, the same streets changing character with the light.
The sonic glue of Paradise City is a voice: DJ Atomika, host of Crash FM, greeting your records, flagging reopened events and telling the city's story between songs. That running commentary turns the playlist into a genuine local radio station, with its tics and its teasers, giving the open world a human presence traffic alone would never have provided.
