GameCube Puzzle Bobble. Core mechanic unchanged: shoot coloured bubbles to pop chains. Adventure mode, four-player multi. Decent execution without innovation. Not the best Bust-A-Move but still enjoyable for the genre.

Collector interest

A straightforward Puzzle Bobble port with no notable editorial or regional twist, published by Ubisoft. The play stays excellent, but the object adds nothing that arcade, console or handheld versions don't already supply. No cult status, no significant print run: collector interest is essentially nil beyond simply rounding out a GameCube set.

Is Bust-A-Move 3000 still worth playing in 2026?

A new take on the classic Puzzle Bobble, Bust-A-Move 3000 reprises the immediate, fiercely addictive principle of aiming and grouping bubbles of the same color to pop them. The formula, as old as the arcade itself, still works just as well, with its perfect balance of relaxation and reflex. The content is generous but the presentation stays minimalist. For arcade puzzle fans and two player versus devotees, it is a timeless pleasure that has lost none of its effectiveness, ideal in short sessions.
