A PlayStation version of Taito's puzzle known in Japan as Puzzle Bobble, Bust-A-Move '99 carries over the crystal clear principle of firing bubbles to match three of the same colour and clear the screen. The angle and ricochet mechanic, the rising tension and the two player mode keep a timeless addictive pull. The production stays plain and the concept barely evolves from the arcade. A fiercely effective puzzler to recommend to any fan of snappy thinking and short session challenge.
