Description

This entry breaks with the series' animated line. Atlus hands the characters over to a more Western painted rendering, faces modelled by light, matte complexions, creased uniforms, and frames the dialogues like a television drama rather than a manga. The contrast with the white, saturated interiors of the operating room only grows more violent.
Two surgeons with nothing in common operate four-handed. One comes from a lineage he refuses to invoke, the other has everything to prove, and the story sends them far from the great hospitals, into a cold where everything is in short supply. The pair is built through successive disagreements rather than declarations, and the disease they hunt ends up answering a personal question.
