The last Black Ops to land on the 360, only it shows up cut down compared to the next-gen version, with several multiplayer modes missing and the campaign reworked in a stripped-back form. As a CoD stop-gap for folks still on the 360, it's perfectly fine.

Is Call of Duty - Black Ops III still worth playing in 2026?

A first person shooter from Treyarch, Call of Duty Black Ops III pushes the series towards a cybernetic future with a cooperative campaign for up to four players, augmented soldiers and a polished Zombies mode. On Xbox 360, this stripped down version drops the solo campaign and runs below the new generation editions. The snappy multiplayer and the Zombies mode stay its strengths, despite now thinned out servers. A title for saga fans and lovers of futuristic multiplayer co-op.
