A WWII FPS adapted for console from the PC series. Varied missions and period atmosphere are well rendered. Less deep than PC competitors but honest on PS2. A good option for console WWII FPS fans.

Is Call of Duty - Finest Hour still worth playing in 2026?
The first Call of Duty designed for consoles, Finest Hour relives the Second World War through several crossing campaigns following the American, British and Soviet fronts, in scripted battles of cinematic sweep. The intense pace, the spectacular staging and the plurality of viewpoints were appealing at launch. The dated handling and a production below the PC versions weigh. A good shooter for fans of retro war FPS and Second World War narrative.
