A PS1 port of the urban chaos Carmageddon. The 32-bit machine bleeds to render the PC's free destruction. Empty tracks, soft AI, but the anarchic spirit survives. Anecdotal next to the more polished PC and Nintendo 64 versions.

A questionable morality

The race promises fast cars and adrenaline, except the most profitable way to win time is to mow down the pedestrians you cross along the way. You deliberately aim for the passerby for the bonus, turning the road into a hunting ground, and the game salutes each swerve with a smug little slow-motion. A cheerful anarchy you savor while quickly forgetting the collateral damage.
