Castelian ports the 8 bit version of the British Storm platform puzzle to Triffix NES with its hero Julius climbing 3D rotating towers to save a princess. The representation offers isometric climbing and trap avoidance in an original English formula. Honest for atypical NES platform fans, curiosity of the European 8 bit catalog.

Collector interest

The American NTSC NES edition of Castelian, Triffix's port of the home-computer hit Nebulus with its tower rotating during the climb. Released by a low-profile third party in 1991, near the end of the US NES commercial cycle, the title stayed obscure and never reached a broad audience. The US cart turns up without much trouble; collector interest comes mainly from the distinctive visual concept and curiosity for late home-computer ports on console, not from marked NTSC scarcity.
