Castlevania Lords of Shadow Mirror of Fate on 3DS. The story of Trevor, Simon and Alucard in a 2.5D Castlevania. Rich combat system and dark gothic atmosphere. Excellent for saga fans who want lore.

The 3DS chapter of MercurySteam's Lords of Shadow trilogy, this Mirror of Fate returns to a more classic side-scrolling structure. The Japanese version, released as Sadame no Makyou, circulated in a small run, Castlevania by then drawing little echo in its home market. That thinner local distribution makes it the variant sought by series fans attached to Japanese editions, beyond the game's mixed reception.
