A charming but very short Japanese platformer in which a chameleon uses its tongue to move. Lovely idea and nice execution, a shame it ends so quickly.

Collector interest

A Japanese platformer from Vic Tokai released in late 1992, Chameleon Kid builds on a chameleon hero with clever transformations yet remains a minor catalogue entry. Loose prices stay modest, marking a game without cult standing, but the jump toward complete Japanese copies reflects genuine scarcity of the original packaging. Appeal lies mainly with fans of lesser-known Japanese Mega Drive platformers filling out a regional set.
