Seen from the height of a tiny robot, the Sanderson home becomes a vast world where a simple table turns into an expedition. The care lavished on everyday objects and on plays of scale creates a rare tenderness and an irresistible handmade charm. This miniature poetry, endearing and original, has no equivalent on the machine.
North American version of Chibi-Robo, released in early 2006 on a GameCube near the end of its US run. Kenichi Nishi's bittersweet concept, in which a few-centimetre robot helps out a family, earned it a cult status that outlived modest sales. The relative scarcity of the complete NTSC edition and that stubborn reputation sustain demand beyond what its commercial career suggested.
