The US edition of Choplifter III on SNES, a competent helicopter rescue with no real scarcity on the NTSC market. An honest sequel without cult aura, it stays common loose and its demand is modest, no higher than that of an ordinary 16-bit action shooter. Its value logically centres on a clean complete copy or a graded sealed one, the un-warped US cardboard box and manual carrying most of the worth.

A helicopter rescue action game, Choplifter III extends the classic formula of picking up hostages under enemy fire before bringing them back to base. The demanding piloting, the ammo management and the environment variety give the action a tactical edge. The decent but unremarkable production and a repetitive concept limit the long term interest. A title for fans of retro rescue shooters and nostalgics of the long Choplifter line.
