Japanese racing game featuring miniature toy vehicles in a human-scale world. The light RPG elements and free exploration are charming. Aimed at a young audience but its originality and relaxed tone also appeal to nostalgic adults.

Is Choro Q still worth playing in 2026?

A racing and adventure game from Takara, Choro Q stars small stylised pull back cars in an open world where you chain races, part collecting and customising your ride to progress. The cute tone, the freedom of exploration and the hidden depth of the parts system make it an endearing, singular experience, far from serious simulations. The modest production and a sometimes slow pace divide. A good game for fans of relaxed racing, customisation and charming Japanese worlds on PS2.
