Clock Tower 2 expands the universe with new characters and enriched gameplay compared to the first PS1 entry. The oppressive atmosphere is maintained and multiple endings encourage multiple playthroughs. A good series entry for horror genre fans.

Is Clock Tower 2 still worth playing in 2026?

A sequel to Human's survival horror, known in the West simply as Clock Tower, this entry alternates several heroines against the return of the Scissorman, with a new panic system that shifts characters' behaviour under stress. The cinematic staging, the multiple endings and the combatless horror reinforce an oppressive tension. The stiff handling and sometimes cryptic puzzles have aged. A genre milestone for fans of atmospheric survival horror and branching stories.
