Released in 2004, this last entry before the DiRT pivot consolidates the simulation formula while broadening the package. Thirty official crews, carefully varied stages and a better structured career mode make it one of the most complete entries of the original era. The driving stays technical and rewarding, with a tangible difference between gravel, tarmac and snow. Visuals have aged, some co driver voice work sounds dry and the lack of really meaningful damage feels strange today. Recommended for anyone after old school simulation rally that is demanding and readable.
