Sega's sparkling puzzle goes full-on duel: lining up gems to bury your opponent under neutral blocks becomes a breathless tug-of-war. The rule stays clear, but the attack strategy adds a fearsome layer. With several players, the tension climbs fast and reversals fly. Colourful, snappy and fiercely competitive.
Addictiveness
"Obsessive"
Stacking your gems while firing nuisance lines at the opponent turns the peaceful puzzle into a nervy duel where every chain counts. The instant rematch and the mounting pressure relentlessly rekindle the will to settle the score. The principle varies little from one game to the next, but the versus mode gives this falling-stone puzzle a fearsomely gripping competitive edge.

Columns III - Taiketsu! Columns World (Mega Drive) price, value & rarity
Columns III in its Japanese edition, a falling-gem puzzle with a battle mode absent or reduced elsewhere, released in Japan and Korea. Its collector interest lies in those extra versus options specific to this cut, which genre purists want to own, and in the rarity of the Korean variant from a tiny market. For Sega puzzle fans, it is the version to favour, and the Korea variant is its hardest piece.
