Commando ports the Capcom arcade military shoot to NES with its soldier Super Joe facing armies alone in top down view. The representation chains vertical scrolling levels with grenades and rifle in an iconic arcade port formula. Honest for NES run and gun fans, classic of the 8 bit Capcom catalog.

Description
Port of Capcom's vertical run-and-gun arcade in which a lone commando wipes out waves of enemy troops. Released by Capcom in 1986 in the United States. Machine gun, grenades and foot-march progression through the jungle. A solid NES conversion despite trimmed visual flourishes.

Faithful home conversion of Capcom's arcade landmark, released early in the North American NES run. Desirability rests on its pioneer status in the run and gun lineage and the Capcom name, a marker of technical care for 1986. Loose copies stay common and inexpensive, while sealed or complete examples climb sharply, since early cardboard packaging from this period survived poorly and clean boxed sets have thinned out.
